A mellow 5.8km of farms and jeep tracks past dams and rivers and through some lovely forest.

Situated in the heart of the Elgin Valley, these 4 well marked trails meanders through an array of stunning terrain. The trails offers a unique riding experience that combines rolling orchard, forested pine slopes, mountainous fynbos with breathtaking views.
Beginners can take on an easy meander through orchards, farm dams and forests, while the more experienced and energetic can head up into plantation clad hills for some nifty climbs, stunning views and sweeping descents. All this while testing their co-ordination and skill on narrow bridges, rocky stretches and weaving single track.

Not only is this one of the best mountain bike trails in the Western Cape but it is also conveniently close to Cape Town (1 hour drive) and 30 minutes away from Hermanus. Whether you feel too tired to drag your weary body home after the ride, or not ready for the fun to end, why nor make a weekend of it and stay at Oak Lane Cottages where the trail start and end.
